July Trip: About a Picture a Day (continued)

7/8 Emma posing at the required 75 foot distance from a bison. This one seemed fairly small/young--so maybe 1000 pounds?

7/9 Emma at the "belching mud pot."

7/10: River Otters at Trout Lake. We also saw fish heading upstream to spawn here (hence the otter family in residence for feasting).

 

Also 7/10: Our second grizzly sighting--this one with cub(s?). You can see a brown lump to the left, that's the cub. I have a pretty good camera but needed a higher powered lens to get a picture clear enough to really show them.
