Happy 12th Anniversary to Us

Our romantic day:

• Lisa's up early while electricity prices are lower and it's not brutally humid, in order to do laundry and bake stuff for church this morning.

• Todd is doing a gardening project with the youth Sunday School class while Lisa's serving coffee and the stuff she's baking.

• Later, we'll be working (hoping) on getting the rest of the water out of the basement and cleaning up the thin layer of muddy silt left behind. While we're doing this, we'll be praying that the Monday rains will not be significant/Today's heat will dry up the ground immensely.
  

• After all this, we'll have a nice cold shower to look forward to, as the plumbers couldn't get to us last week to fix/replace the water heater.

• Then, we'll have to figure out what to eat for dinner as we'll likely not be in shape to head to a restaurant and it's probably going to be too hot to spend significant time cooking.

• Finally, we'll have a serious look at our finances as we'll have two estimates this week on some unrelated plumbing issues and the numerous basement/foundation issues.
